My puppy breathes fast when sleeping. Is this normal or a vet concern?

Hi. I have cocker spaniel puppy, born on 10 July this year. We have had her for one week. All her behaviour has seemed normal and healthy, however when she’s sleeping at times her breathing becomes quite rapid, about 60 breaths in 30 seconds. I have been waking her to give her a drink, which seems to help reset it. But not always. When she’s awake her breathing is fine. Should I take her to a vet. She’s not due for her next vaccination for two weeks. Thank you

Dogs dream, and they can have changes in breathing in response to these dreams. If this is only happening when Daisy is asleep, that is what I suspect is happening. I would only be concerned if this was happening when she is awake as well.
