My cockatiel parrot isn't opening her eyes. Is she sick or injured?

Hi,My cocktail parrot not opening her both eyes from last couple of days.I have brought her in my house a week before.No visible swelling or any infection sign is present at any eye.She also took her seeds properly by opening her eyes very little.I am very worried about her.Please guide me how to make her treatment to overcome this problem.

Thanks for reaching out about your cockatiel and including photos. Trauma to the eyes, such as a chemical or aerosol, are possible, but also a disease call psittacosis, which is a bacterial infection. A veterinary visit is highly recommended as this is contagious to both other birds and people. Good luck.
