Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs
I was given a kitten a couple weeks ago and I suspect she was taken from her mom too early so she’s been given kitten formula, She’s now old enough for hard food and wet food but she flat out refuses to eat any of it, it’s been 3 days now since she’s eaten, she’s acting fine and drinking water but what can I do to get her to eAt hard/wet food

I am sorry to hear about your kitten! I would start by making a slurry of the kitten formula you have been using along with the food you are trying to feed- if it is dry kibble you can actually soak the kibble in formula to soften in at then add more formula to make it more of a soup, or you can put it in a blender together. This will help her adjust to the taste of the food while still getting the familiar flavor of the formula. You could also add formula to wet food. As she starts eating this, slowly decrease the amount of formula you are adding to the food as she adjusts.
