My cat has a red spot on her anus. What is it? Should I worry?

My ~7 year old cat has a red spot on her anus, but doesnt appear to be an anal sac issue. Just wondering what she has going on and if its something to be concerned with

It could be a growth or an irritated spot on Penny’s anis. If she’s acting normally and using the litter normally, I’d keep an eye on her for now. If it gets bigger, she has trouble going poop, becomes lethargic, has a decrease in appetite, or it bothers her, have her seen by a vet. Best of luck.
