Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 9 months old
I noticed the beginning of last week that my dog has been getting really skinny. I thought he may need more food but unfortunately it hasn't helped at all. I have an appointment for him at the vet on the 12 of Sept but I'm rather concerned. His attitude seems normal with nothing out of the ordinary. You He will be 3 in November and is a German Shepherd. Also I'm not sure if this would do anything but my sister had twins on the 8th of August.

I recommend to have Samson examined by the veterinarian. Not feeding enough calories per day can be a cause as well as intestinal parasites, organ disease, endocrine disorders among other causes can all cause weight loss. The vet may recommend running a fecal test to check for parasites and may also recommend blood work to check for signs of a problem. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
