Why is my new kitten's poop yellow and wet? Diet, worms, or vet?

Hi, I got a kitten yesterday (8 weeks). While using the litter box today, he was constantly meowing and moving around the box, he finally finished his business , tried to cover his poop multiple times but walked away after a while without covering it. I checked his poo and saw there was a part of it that was a bit yellow and wet. (His previous owners kept him in a mess). Could the poo thing be because of diet change? He’s playful otherwise and seems to be eating and sleeping well. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male

The poop could be due to a sudden change in diet, but it could also be due to intestinal worms, which are common in kittens. Make sure Tobi is up to date on his deworming treatments, and have him seen by a vet if these poops continue.
