My dog's ear is swollen shut, dry, and bleeding from scratching. What to do?

My dogs ear canal is completely swollen shut where u cannot even see in her ear. It is dry and she is scratching to where its bleeding a little. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 7 months old | 12 lbs

Ouch ! That looks painful. I think before putting anything in the ear, she should be checked over so she can get some pain relief or some antiinflammatories to help things settle and then more specific topical medications according to what the primary cause is : yeast, bacterial.. etc etc hope she gets better soon !
