Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Watch her closely for signs of a gastrointestinal obstruction such as inappetence, vomiting and abdominal pain and if observed, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Otherwise, she may pass them. Have a good day!

Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I do not think you have anything to worry about. The bone will be digested. If Ari should at any time become lethargic, stop eating, begin vomiting or develop diarrhea, please see your veterinarian.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Cooked bones tend to not splinter. The stomach acids tend to break down the bones. She may experience constipation from the digested bone in her stool or she may show no symptoms at all. I would withhold food for 24 hrs to prevent bloating. Also if seasonings were used she could develop an upset stomach. I hope this helps and I wish Tofy the best!

There is a chance that the bone will pass through without causing a problem, especially if the piece that she ingested was small. Monitor her for vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy and have her examined by a vet if you notice anything abnormal.
