Pet's info: Dog | English Mastiff | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 20 days old | 110 lbs
Hi, We have a 6 months old English mastiff, who has frequent soft stools (5 times a day not watery), and also frequently have gas when he poop. Did notice work in his feces last week and given him Bayer quad dewormer medicine. He is still pooping five times a day and sometimes with gas. We do feed him like 6-7 times a day due to him being a puppy still. What could be the cause? Should we retreat with dewormer? He is otherwise eating and drinking normal

I would wait until two weeks after you gave Andy the dewormer, then treat again. Six to seven times is a lot to feed a puppy his age, and he can now be fed twice a day. He's probably going to the bathroom that much because you are feeding him so often. See if reducing his feedings to twice a day plus another treatment with the dewormer helps. If they do not, have him seen by a vet. Best of luck.
