My dog has high ALT. What do elevated liver values mean? Denamarin?

ALT is a non-specific liver value that can elevate due to many many reasons. Here is a helpful article about blood levels in general: https://www.petcoach.co/article/chemistry-panels-tests-for-pets/ The Denamarin may help to lower the value. Most vets will recheck the liver values 1 month after starting the medication and then will make decisions based upon the response.
