My dog won't eat for 2 days and can't open his mouth. What's wrong?

My dog is not eating it’s been 2 days He is just drinking water and not actually opening his mouth properly Please help i need him. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 3 lbs

Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. He may have mouth pain. I recommend that you have Black evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam.
