My dog's ear has brown discharge and he's in pain. Is it an infection?

Hi, there's something on my dog's ear like a brown discharge. Sometimes its wet, sometimes its dry. I've tried to clean his ears but it feels like he's hurting. I can't even check it. Can you please advice. As I work and no time to visit his vet.

It's probably an ear infection, often it cannot be seen from the outside. Ear infections are very common in dogs, it is usually caused by either yeast or bacterial disease. the treatment is usually simple and straightforward, you will have to take him to the vet and get the ears checked, then a prescription ear drops will be prescribed according to the infectious agent.
