My dog has a runny nose, sneezing, and licking. Is it allergies?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | 2 years and 8 months old | 27 lbs

My dog woke up this morning with a runny nose he's active he's playing a little bit but it keeps on licking his nose I touched it feels a little dry but he sneezed I think it's just like an allergy what can I do

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If it is just a clear discharge then it could be due to allergies and if just transient it would not need any therapy. However, if it is a thick, mucosy green discharge, it could be an infection and antibiotics would be indicated. If it is clear, I would continue monitoring for now and have him evaluated if it does not resolve. However, if it is not clear, I would recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian now for further assessment and treatment. Best of luck!
