Why does my dog have a blue spot on her stomach near her nipple?

My dog has a blue spot on her stomach, right beside one of her nipples. It appeared this morning and it’s about an inch long and an inch wide. She’s been eating, pooping and playing normally, but she is not spayed (yet). What could have caused this discoloration?? Is it a sign of something more serious? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 20 lbs

Without seeing the lesion I cannot say what it is. If you would like to post again with a photo then we may be able to help you better. Could be a blood vessel bleeding under the skin. Could be a clotting disorder. A bruise. I don't know. So, either post again with some photos or just take Zoe to your vet for an exam.
