My 3 yr pit mix has vomitted till stomach empty vomitted when ate food hasn't without food for 2hrs can drink so far gums turn back pink decently quick stomach seem hard no pain not sure if she ate something bad resently has a rash I treated with benadryl and aspirin for open sores and ten milg of prednisone also flea treated about a week ago did get a bad Apple yesterday but took 10hrs before she puked she's wants to eat but i won't let her responds to treat normal but still seems sick. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 6 months old | 55 lbs

The color of the gums is normal. This presentation could be due to a gastrointestinal inflammation infection but most likely it is dietary related. I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.
