Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 10 lbs

Leia was spay when she was around 5 or 6 months old she got her period and we got her fixed that same month now she's 1 year 8 months old and she has this lump on her, it doesn't hurt her when I touch or push on it she eats normal, plays normal and nothing is coming out of her boob what could it be? When I lay her down I can feel it on both sides just one side is bigger than the other

This is probably the mammary gland and the fat underneath, especially if she is completely fine and there are no other signs. Enlarged lymph nodes (inguinal) may be a possible differential as well. Unfortunately in this case a physical examination would be essential to determine more precisely the underlying cause. I would recommend a vet check up.
