Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old | 65 lbs
You My dog has always had to have his anal glands expressed but now it's like he just reeks of that fishy foul odor. I've given him a bath just in case some of it had been left in his fur. And he still stinks. He has bumps all over his skin he is prone to allergies but it not time for his allergies to flare up yet.I have tried a oatmeal shampoo but it didnt seem to help much. He is itching and scooting around the house. He has been checked for parasites and he has none.

It looks like he has a skin infection which may be related to allergies. Your vet can prescribe an antibiotic to treat the infection. You could also talk to your vet about trying Apoquel or Cytopoint to control his allergies especially if they start to flare up again. As for the anal glands, he might just need them expressed more frequently. Anal gland problems can also be related to allergies so you could try him on allergy medications and see if that helps, too.
