My dog woke up squinting and can't open her eyes. What should I do?

Robin is having a hard time opening her eyes. Since she woke up this morning she has been like this. She is either squinting or closing her eyes. We flushed out her eyes with water and it kinda helps for a few minutes. What should I do? What can I give her for her eyes? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 4.1 lbs

Poor Robin! She could have an eye injury or an eye infection. Any eye problem is considered an emergency because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please take her into a vet now. Best of luck.
