Why is my rabbit not eating, moving, or pooping? Is it serious?

My rabbit is not eating or moving for the last 12 hours . It is just sitting in a bread loaf position and is neither asking for some food nor eating or drinking any of its favourite foods . There has been no faecal droppings from the last night . Please reply ASAP

Hi, and thanks for your question. This is a a very concerning presentation. Differentials are many, from gastrointestinal diseases (infection/inflammations often dietary related) to any disease that can spread systemically (causing lethargy for example) like infection, and anything that can cause pain/discomfort. In these cases an immediate check up is needed to avoid fatal secondary complications.
