My dog is sick: low energy, licking mouth, gagging. Vet or home?

Question

my dog had low energy yesterday and now she is obsessively licking her mouth. she had attempted to throw up once but it was just a gag reflex. i believe that if she throws up, she will be okay. however, i still don't know what is the matter with by dog. does she need to go to the vet, or can this be handled at home? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 93 lbs

I’m sorry Rian isn’t doing well! I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts a couple of times a day for a few days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she starts vomiting, vomits the bland diet, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, stops eating, or becomes lethargic, have her seen by a vet immediately. Best of luck.
