My turtle has swollen, cloudy eyes. How can I treat them at home?

I was just wondering what treatment I can do at home for my turtle . His eyes are swollen and cloudy. I just noticed it today when I changed and cleaned his tank. Pet's info: Reptile | Turtle

Thanks for reaching out about Donatello and including photos. Swollen eyes are typically due to vitamin A deficiency (a condition called squamous metaplasia) with secondary infections. Rarely do topical antibiotics or anything added to the water help. A veterinary visit is needed for an injection of vitamin A and systemic antibiotics. Long term, the diet needs to be improved and water quality kept pristine. Good luck.
