My dog has diarrhea, vomiting, won't eat, is lethargic. Vet needed?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boykin Spaniel | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 21 days old | 24 lbs

My Boykin Spaniel started at 4 AM this morning having diarrhea that she can’t control. Since then, when she walks, she can’t control it. She has been throwing up bile and won’t eat anything. She is very lethargic. Do you know what’s going on and do I need to take her to the vet?

I recommend to have Beckett examined by the veterinarian today. There may be something very serious going on. The veterinarian can also give Beckett some medications to help her to feel better and control the diarrhea. I hope it’s nothing serious.
