How can I stop my rescue dog from licking everything constantly?

My dog is about 3 years ago, I got her as a resuce when she was about 1 and a half and she was always so scared but still very friendly. About 6 months into having her she started licking everything and everybody, if I would let her she would lick me for a half hour or later. Is there something I could do? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 13 lbs

It depends on the reason for the licking. There is a great trainer named Victoria Stilwell who has written many books. Anxiety is complicated and will not be fixed over night. I hope this helps.
