My dog has a bump on his eyelid. Is it a pimple or something worse?

Why does my dog have a pimple type of thing on his top eyelid ?? Is it bad ?? Or will it remove on its own ??

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Toby. He appears to have a small mass along his eyelid margin. If it is filled with pus, this indicates a skin infection. He could also have a growth from the glands that line his eyelids. He will need to see his veterinarian to know for sure and determine appropriate treatment if necessary. In the meantime, do not allow him to paw at his eye. Place an E-collar on him if necessary. I hope this information helps!
