My dog has a soft lump under her eye. What is it, when to see a vet?

There is a lump underneath my dog’s left eye she doesn’t seem to be in pain when I touch but she does try to avoid my hand by looking the other way. It’s not hard but I do have concerns on what it is and if it’s threatening and what are possible ways to treat it. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 13 years old | 8 lbs

If Amy tries to avoid your hand when you go to touch it, that tells me it bothers her. It could be a dental problem, or it could be a growth of some sorts. I would take her into the vet on Monday. The vet can diagnose what is causing it, and can treat it. I hope this helps!
