Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. These brownies are typically milk chocolate, which is not the most toxic type of chocolate for dogs. He is small, though, so it wouldn't take a lot of chocolate to make him sick. It is likely that your pet will develop some diarrhea for the next couple days. You may also notice that he seems anxious or hyperactive. The most dangerous part about chocolate is the affect it can have on the heart - it causes increased heart rate and can cause arrhythmias. If he ate the chocolate within the last 2-3 hours, I recommend inducing vomiting with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. If he doesn't vomit after 15 minutes, this can be repeated once. Alternatively, you can monitor for the development of any clinical signs and have him seen by a vet if you see them! I hope this is helpful!
