Why is my dog's poop yellow, tan, soft, or runny? Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 70 lbs

SHARE Bob pooped 2-3 and peed 3-5 times/day in the house,rarely going out.eating mostly human food for 2 yrs now.2 wks ago he had hard poop.a wk later it happened again for 2 days 1 time/day.this wk.I only fed him his food (wich he only eats from my hand), & and i take him out 4 times/day.tue & wed poop was solid/yellow twice each day. today it was soft/tan 1st time, 2nd kinda runny w/a little water.he jus ate for the 2nd time today(it's 2:01am.wut can I do ??

Yellow/tan colored stools are very abnormal. This is generally an issue with the liver. It could be the sign of a sign of liver or biliary disease or it could simply mean that your dog’s poop moved too fast through the GI tract to pick up the bile which changes the color to the normal brown you recognize. I suggest you start a probiotic (one made for dogs) to give for a few weeks and also have a fecal test done by your vet to rule out internal parasites (worms).
