My cat has pancreatitis and won't eat. What non-prescription food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 6 years and 4 months old | 11 lbs

My cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and refuses to eat any of the prescriptions for that condition. Is there any non-prescription food I can try feeding him? He's lost so much weight as a result.

Hi, you can try something natural snd easy to digest such as almo nature chicken, chicken and shrimps , tuna in water etc however once things settle lexx should be gradually placed on a complete cat food diet. Hope this helps !
