Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 25 lbs

My dog seems to have an ear infection and I read online that drops of apple cider vinegar mixed with hydrogen peroxide would be good to kill the infection is this a wise idea and would it work?

No, not at all! This is terrible. Would you put apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in your ear? You also don't know if the ear drum is intact, and this can cause serious problems if it's not. Good on you for asking a professional before trying it. Take Peques into the vet in the morning to have his ear infection treated properly. I hope this helps!
