My new puppy is quiet, scared, and has soft poop. Is she settling in?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 7 days old | 18 lbs

My new 4 month old puppy is constantly laying - she eats and drinks, but otherwise isn't interested in playing. Her poop is also very soft. I just got her from the shelter 3 days ago and it seems she's scared of everything. Should I be worried or is she just getting used to her new home and owner?

I would give her a bit more time to settle in. If after a few more days she does not seem to perk up I would get her examined by your veterinarian. For the soft stools, you can try giving a probiotic (made for dogs) for the next couple weeks to see if that helps. If the soft stools continue despite that then I would suggest a fecal test with your vet to check for parasites (worms).
