Dog constantly licking and biting air: Is it seizures or dental pain?

My chorkie keeps licking and biting the air. I have read she is having seizures, but she does it constantly most of the day. Is she okay? Pet's info: Dog | Chorkie | Female | spayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 5 lbs

She could be irritated by something inside her mouth. If it is happening all day, then it is highly unlikely that it is a seizure. To be sure, I would video tape the event and then have her evaluated by your vet. THe vet can do a complete oral exam to check for signs of dental disease. Also if you notice she is grinding her teeth, this can be a sign of GI disease, such as indigestion. I hope that things work out well for your pet Bella moving forward. Take care!
