Hello. My sisters 6yr old female Cat has had diarreah all day. It is very pale an watery. She is an indoor cat an otherwise healthy. She is on a wet food diet. She hasn't been spayed. Should I be overly worried? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 7 years and 4 months old | 8 lbs

Hi, and thanks for your question. As a first approach, I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken/white fish and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.
