New kitten has eye discharge, sneezing, and won't eat. Can it wait?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

Hello, today my friend brought a new cat to her home. Her name is Kira she is 2 months old. As my friend says she didn’t have this problem on her eyes just today. But as the cat played in the yard she caught the allergy like this. As my friend says she is very sad not eating and sneezing. It’s 22:00PM in our country and she couldn’t take her to the vet doctor. She is afraid something could happen to her until tomorrow. Can you please give us some advice.

Poor kitty. Both 3rd eyelids are raised which is what you are seeing in the middle corner of her eyes. I can also see a small amount of discharge from her eyes. This is commonly seen in viral infections in kitties. This isn't an emergency and can wait until tomorrow to be treated. These viral infections will often cause a secondary bacterial infection so the vet will likely give her a short course of antibiotics and an antiviral. I hope your kitty feels better soon! Best wishes and take care.
