If these signs suddenly appeared a neurological problem is suspected possibly involving the thoraco-lumbar tract of the spinal cord. Intervertebral disc disease, spinal cord strokes and more sinister causes like tumors may be all possible differentials. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately.
