My dog vomited yellow liquid after eating fruit. What should I do?

Echo vomited some yellow liquid, his usual food is chicken and brown rice dry food, and two days ago my friends fed him some banana and orange, but he pooped right the past two days. Please let me know if there’s anything wrong with him! Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | 4 months and 12 days old | 30 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question! It could be the banana and orange has upset Echo's stomach. I can give you a home remedy for him to see if that helps. Withhold food for 6-8 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
