Help! My dog's nose is discolored, losing hair, and she's scratching.

My lily's nose has discolored a bit and it's starting to seem to loose hair around it? What could it be? Shes also loosing hair around her neck She has been scratching and we take her collar off to make sure it's not that. We have her on food that is specific for sensitive skin and stomach... Pet's info: Dog | Keeshond | Female | spayed | 3 years and 2 months old | 35 lbs

It is difficult to determine much from the photo - when I try to enlarge it the photo become grainy and it is difficult to tell what is going on. Things that can cause hair loss and discoloration around the nose area are: * fungal infection * bacterial infection * autoimmune disorder * contact dermatitis * hormonal disorder * drug reaction * vitiligo * lupus (SLE or DLE) * pemphigus * uveodermatologic syndrome I suggest you have her examined by your vet so you can get a diagnosis and the proper treatment started.
