My dog got into cat food 5 days ago, for 2 daysshe had diarreah and then she was constipated for a couple days and now shes pooping again, the solid ones are fine but her diarreah still has blood in it. Does she need to go to the vet or is this something that is a result of the cat food?

Hello. I am always concerned when there is blood in the stool for more than a day or so. At this point, it is difficult to say if the cat food caused this or something else is going on, like parasites, or some form of enteritis/colitis. I would definitely consider a trip to your vet to make sure there is not an ongoing problem & possibly starting Tika on a course of antibiotics. I hope she is feeling better soon. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
