Why is my cat's litter mushy and stuck? Is it diarrhea or urine?

When cleaning out our cats litter box we found out that som of the litter got stuck to the bottom it kind of turned mushy. Was wandering if this is something to be worried about. Is this diarrhea? Or is it just urine

It could be urine. I find that when I clean my cats's litter boxes, there is some that is stuck to the bottom and is mushy, and it is always urine. I would expect if it was diarrhea, it would be a bit thicker in consistency. You can keep an eye on the area to be safe, and take your cats into the vet for a check up to make sure everything is ok. Best of luck!
