How old should my puppy be for its first shots and rabies vaccine?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and congrats on the new baby! I do not recommend starting the distemper/parvo vaccines until 6-8 weeks of age. They should be repeated every 3-4 weeks until at least 16 weeks of age. The rabies vaccine is usually given between 12 and 16 weeks of age. Best of luck to you and Oreo!
