My dog has a lump on her eye, but it doesn't hurt. What is it?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 23 lbs

My dog had this lump on her eye. Do you know what this could be? She’s not in any pain or acting any differently.

I am having a hard time appreciating a lump in these pictures (lumps are 3D and don't always photograph well). I would recommend that you have a vet examine Renpet to see if it is something that we need to worry about. They will do a visual exam and palpate the area. They may take a sample of cells with a needle for evaluation under the microscope if they are concerned about it being an infection or cancerous.
