Why is my active kitten's watery poop still an issue after deworming?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

A three month old male kitten. Vomited white color long worms once in April when he was still 2 months and gave a quarter of pyrantin tablet as advised by a vet. The issue is when ever he poops it is runny. He doesnt poop always like diarrhea but his poop is watery. I feed him small fish boiled with rice. A vet gave an Injection and some medicine for one week. Still the poop is runny. I want to know is the poop runny because of worm issue? He is very active.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding your kitten. I recommend that he has fecal testing as I suspect parasites are still the problem. It is not uncommon for a kitten to be infected with more than one type of parasite. The feces should be evaluated under a microscope if possible so any remaining parasites can be identified and properly treated. I hope this information helps!
