My dog ate dark chocolate. What should I do if she seems fine now?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | 11 years and 7 months old

My dog ate about 3 or 4 squares of dark Belgium chocolate and my parents don't know. She seems fine but only are then half and hour ago at about 8.20 and I need to know what to do before 10

Dark chocolate is more dangerous than regular chocolate but what is really important is how big your dog weighs. This amount of dark chocolate in a small dog (20# or less) could be very serious. In a much larger dog it is probably not as big of an issue. Your dog may experience a rapid heart beat, hyperactivity, vomiting/diarrhea, and worse case scenario would involve seizures and possibly death. My best advice is to let your parents know what is going on as soon as possible so that if your dog needs medical attention she can get it sooner rather than later. I hope this helps.
