Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 1 day old | 1.7 lbs

My puppy is 7 weeks old and he stopped eating on Sunday night and started puking and having diarrhea. I’ve taken him to the vet twice and they just gave me antibiotics and something to calm his stomach and keep telling me to come back if it gets worse. ITS BEEN WORSE! They won’t do anything to help my baby. He doesn’t have parvo and they gave him a worm pill on Monday. I don’t know what to do, I’ve bedn feeding him a and d food through a syringe mixed with water, gums are white , he has 0 energy

That sounds serious. Little Bit needs further diagnostics. He need to have blood work checked for congenital abnormalities or signs of toxin exposure. He needs to have his feces examined for worms, Giardia and coccidia. He may also need an x-ray to look for signs of an intestinal obstruction. Something is causing the illness and it must be accurately determined in order to receive appropriate treatment. If your veterinarian cannot provide these diagnostics, I recommend to get a second opinion and get that done today. Best of luck.
