My 4-month puppy has diarrhea. What should I feed him until the vet?

Hello! I have a 4 months old puppy. Last night when I took him out he's stool was soft. Today when I got home from work he had poop over 4 times and looks like diarrhea. He's acting very normal, still playing and eating. He has an appointment for tomorrow. What I can do to stop the diarrhea into tomorrow? Should I keep feeding him? Thanks!

I would decrease his meals to a smaller amount and I would try feeding him plain boiled boneless skinless chicken and white rice instead of dog food. This will help to settle his tummy, but may not stop the diarrhea completely. With him being so young and small, you do not want to stop feeding him completely as his blood sugar may get too low. Your vet will be able to do a fecal on him to look for parasites and start him on the proper meds to help him feel better. I hope this helps!
