My dog is vomiting blood but seems fine. What could be wrong?

we are looking after a Staffy for a family member. We’ve had the dog for about a week now. The last two days she has been vomiting, tonight I noticed a bit of blood in the vomit. She is still eating and drinking and seems ok otherwise, we can’t locate anything she may have ingested by accident poisons plants or otherwise. Can you please advise?. Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 21 lbs

Hi, she could have gastritis or a viral infections, or eaten something that has upset her stomach. It is difficult to tell without checking her over. I would recommend that you take her to see a vet and in the meantime feed her a bland diet of chicken and rice or white fish and rice. Hope this helps.
