Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 38 lbs
I have a 6 mo old male mixed breed. We’ve had him since last Saturday after he was neutered. We noticed that he drank a lot of water and ate his food very fast. Recently he’s been having a lot of accidents in the house when it would only be around 1 -2/day. Today he peed a normal amount outside but kept stopping every so often to pee, but only small drops came out or nothing at all. He’s currently been taking cefpodoxime for two weeks for a skin irritation as well. Does he seem to have a UTI?

Lower urinary tract disease is a possibility and since this is a recent change and Bane seems to be only passing small amounts of urine I would recommend having him examined by your vet. A urinary tract infection is possible even though he is on antibiotics, and occasionally we can see bladder stones or other diseases in young dogs as well.
