Why is my dog sneezing with a stuffy nose but acting normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 90 lbs

Hello! My 1.5 year old GSD and my foster doberman mix are both sneezing and seem to have stuffed noses. No discharge, bleeding coughing. Their energy levels and appetite seems normal. What can this be and do I need to see a vet? Thank you! Maya

Hi Maya! It could be they have a respiratory infection. They should see a vet for it, but because their appetite and activity levels are normal, it's not an emergency. I'd have them seen by a vet tomorrow. I hope this helps!
