My dog ate cat poop and is throwing up. Should I be concerned?

I inquired earlier about my Ginger, who has been eating kitty poop from litter boxes and is throwing up tonight X's 9 tonight. The response made mention of reasons she might be vomiting, but Im pretty sure it is what she ate. Is she at risk of being serious I'll from this or could this just be an upset tummy from too many "kitty cookies" yuk. My poor Ginger... My dogs love to eat "kitty cookies" as well, and it does make them sick. It's so gross. Typically this will pass, and I will give you a home remedy for Ginger to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
