Hello my husky/collie mix is 8 1/2 months old he is up to date on all vaccines and is neutered. He began having diarrhea yesterday. He hasn’t gotten into anything in the house, outside the house, and I haven’t changed his food. He is behaving normally besides the episodes of diarrhea that appear to be brought on quickly. I’ve been feeding him chicken, white rice and pumpkin to help and it has. Without the pumpkin he continues to have diarrhea. Eating and drinking normally. Please help!

Hi, you should collect a feacal sample and have it checked over for parasites and bacteria. Being a young dog he could have Giardia for example, which would cause intermittent diarrhoea. If the sample comes back as negative, he could have alimentary allergies or IBD. Hope this helps.
