Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello, my Siamese gave birth to a three kittens, they're one month and a half now, the two other kittens are doing okay but one of them refuses to eat it's been a week now ! First I thought that this is okay because she drinks water and her mother brest feeding her , but today I noticed that she is weak and becomes sooo skinny and has a high fever she seems tired , she was okay eating playing .. idk what's wrong? What should I do? I'm scared of taking her to the vet we don't have competent vets

You do have to take her into a vet. It's extremely serious when a kitten doesn't eat, as they will develop a fatty liver if they go long enough without eating. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment. She sounds very sick, please take her into a vet now.
